The prices in our internal trip planning tool was editable manually, resulting in over and under pricing of our trips by upto 14%. Our hypothesis was that automating the price calculation would decrease the share of over/under priced trips from 72% to atleast 90%.

This is a snapshot of the pricing modal prior to this initiative. Clustered design, inadequate passenger stacking and excessive information makes it a extremely difficult for new agents to onboard, as well as inefficient for all agents. Trip Planner supports a variety of user personas, however the design was similar for all user types.
